Welcome Welcome to the Lima New City webpage! Thank you for visiting us. We hope that you will find this page helpful in giving you an insight into our team, our vision, the different ministries that we are involved in and the ways that God is working in Lima. The Lima New City team is convinced the only way we can reach the people of Lima is through the work of the Holy Spirit. We are committed to seeing the transformation of this city through the power of the Gospel of Christ. We understand that we, on our own, are not capable of this incredible task but with the help of our Lord Jesus Christ we know that Lima not only can be transformed but will be transformed. We invite you to check out some of the ways that He is already moving. |

One of our primary goals is the equipping of churches through the training of national leaders. We are currently doing this through teaching courses in local churches such as Evangelism Explosion, mentoring, and putting on conferences that are open to all denominations. Some of the conferences we have put on have covered topics such as Adoption, Family, and Christ-centered preaching. |
|
These are ministries that are designed to reach out and help the poor, abandoned and hungry. Currently we are involved in a project in Huaycan that is designed to provide food for children whose families are unable to provide enough for them to eat at home. We also have a diaconal closet that is designed to distribute gifts of clothing to people who are in need of such items. |

The advancing of the kingdom through the establishment of nationally pastored Presbyterian churches in the many districts of Lima. This will be accomplished through the building of relationships with people in the targeted areas. |
